About Professor Enge
Educator, Lawyer, Entrepreneur and Author.
If you want to see every job I've had going back to when I was a kid as well as my academic record and publications, head over to my linkedin page.
Presently, I am an Associate Professor of Management and Business Law at Mott Community College. My teaching philosophy is geared toward the pragmatic, I like to use real world examples to help students see how the ideas they learn in class apply in the real world. We focus on both business and legal cases with a good deal of class interaction. My overall goal is to get students ready for their first professional job. I try to instill high ethical standards and a "get it done" attitude in my students.
My courses at Mott include Business Law I, Introduction to Business, Principles of Management, Small Business Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, and Retail Management. I'll be teaching Legal Issues for Small Business this fall.
In addition to teaching at Mott, I have taught business law and legal research and writing at Saginaw Valley State University, Cañada College, and Skyline College. I have also taught management, entrepreneurial finance, and business law at Northwood University. In addition, I have taught several entrepreneurship, management and leadership and law classes for Concordia Ann Arbor/Mequon, in both their Frankenmuth, Center and online.
Tozy Tea LLC is my third startup experience. As CEO of an internet retailer, I am responsible for strategic planning as well as day to day execution. Our goal is to develop Tozy Tea into one of the premier gourmet tea brands in America. Our strategy relies heavily on social media marketing. We have been in business for more than five years and are looking forward to further growth.
Education
B.S. Finance, Summa Cum Laude, Millikin University, Decatur Illinois
J.D., Stanford Law School, Stanford California
M.B.A., with Honors, University of Michigan, Flint
